Workshops for the Manufacturing of Benches and Rustic Center Tables.

Who is it addressed to?

Beginners with or without previous experience in woodworking. They will learn the manufacturing techniques with reclaimed wood that have been passed from generation to generation in the families of our artisans.

The objective of the workshops is to go through different stages of making a piece of furniture, wood preparation, assembly, sanding/brushing and finally varnishing.

Types of Workshops

There will be two types of Workshops:

Bench Manufacturing and Donation: July 1-2

Together with Nelson and another teacher, each of the attendees will be part of the manufacture of Benches to be donated to different institutions in the Recoleta district.

Value: $ 90,000.- per person

Coffee Table Manufacturing: June 10-11

Each of the attendees will make a 100 x 70 cm Rustic Coffee table created from recovered Oak, Raulí, Pine and Poplar wood.

Value: $180,000 per person.

Dates and Hours

Each workshop will be held in 2 modules, starting Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and ending on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Place: Alfredo Rosende 761, Recoleta.

Requirements

Due to COVID protocols, each participant must bring their own Safety Shoes, Glasses, Earmuffs, Mask and gloves.
